The NIKER project presents a new integrated set of methods for solving problems linked to the conservation of historic buildings in seismic areas, to improve general safety levels and to minimize the loss of artistic value.

The Catalogue

The NIKER Catalogue links earthquake-induced failure mechanisms, construction typologies and materials, interventions and assessment techniques. It aims at knowledge-based optimisation of interventions, together with definition of main design parameters and required materials and techniques.
